Chapter Three Sneak Peek

Kai

The guard in the back of the truck kept his eyes trained on me. I looked at him seductively through my thick lashes. My deep violet eyes dilated in anticipation of the kill. I pouted my full lips suggestively, though they were cracked and dry, raising an eyebrow. My tongue was parched and I longed for the water he had next to him.
Come on. Undo the chains.
If I could just get him to come a little closer it would be the last thing he’d ever do. Even the thought of that animal touching me made my stomach churn. It was the one thing I had never become immune to. I oozed sex appeal, even without my Siren pull. We were the creatures desired throughout the ages. Foolish humans didn’t even realize it, living in their own little world. Cocking a hip with a smirk I locked eyes with the man and watched his gaze gloss over.
Pig
I was the strongest creature here, but also the most desired. I’d been subjected to things most men never even considered. I detested them all.
He stood, walking toward me slowly, as though teasing me. The others on the floor looked at me in disgust. I paid them no mind, they were weak and useless. Some of them could probably use elements to defend themselves. They were more interested in being rescued.
Setting down his gun, he walked over to me and hooked his arms around me. Squeezing my ass with one hand, he ran his other thumb over my hip bone. Despite his orders, my Siren pull erased his inhibition.
“You look lonely.” He whispered, leaning in and smiling arrogantly.
“Maybe you can do something about that.”
His glassy gaze flickered down my form. He reached up, jerking my head back by my hair. I giggled playfully, feeling my skin crawl from the contact.
He was the only guard back here. It was rather stupid, leaving the human alone. The other two were up front, with only a curtain dividing us. I’d need to be quiet. Slowly the guard ran a hand up to the hook above my head and let my hands down. A long chain still ran between both wrists, but there was enough slack to work with.
Quick as lightening I snapped his neck before he could even cry out.
